How this site handles your data
Who is responsible
Carmelo Bastillo, P.IVA 03121650844 — work@carmelobastillo.com. This site is a personal portfolio: there are no accounts, forms or newsletters, and nothing you type is collected.
Analytics (only with your consent)
To understand how the site is used I rely on Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited. It records page views, the pages you move between, your approximate location (country/city), device and browser type. It runs in "consent mode": no analytics cookie is set and no identifier is stored until you choose That's fine in the cookie banner. If you decline, Google receives only anonymous, cookieless pings that cannot be linked to you.
With your consent Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga
and _ga_* (up to 2 years) to tell returning visits apart. Reports

Technical storage
The site remembers two preferences in your browser's local storage: the day/night theme and your cookie choice. They are not cookies, are never sent to any server and can be cleared from your browser at any time.
